We reserve time especially for you. Unless you are completely sure that the appointment time and date work for you and yours, we can not book the appointment, Cancellations and no shows affect us significantly. Therefore, we require 24 hours notice for all individual cancellations, 48 hours for 2 or more services booked and 48 hours on all Couples sessions , (With the exception of the "Creme De La Creme" session, which is 72 hours) in order to avoid being charged the full price of the sessions. Rescheduling will not waive the fee. All "no shows" will be charged at full value. If possible, late arrivals will receive an extension of their scheduled appointment however, when this is not possible, full payment is still expected. Please assure your fully allotted time by arriving at the office 15 minutes early. Emergencys do happen and often we will take that into account. However, proof will be required. In addition, any cancellations due to sickness will require a physician's note. The physician can not be yourself or family member. Thank you for co-operation and understanding.
When coming in for pain or discomfort, gratuities are not accepted. Tipping a healthcare professional is not appropriate, and we appreciate your honoring our policy. When coming in for relaxation or preventative maintenance and in addition youhappen to have pain or discomfort, then a gratuity is welcome. So, "because" or "for" pain.... no tip, with pain... tipping is appreciated! Please note that most gift certificates do not include a gratuity. Should you wish to leave a gratuity, 15-20 percent is customary, but you may of course leave more or less, depending on the quality of the service. You may leave it at the reception desk when you pay your bill or give it directly to the therapist. Be assured your therapist will receive 100% of the gratuity.

Hands On Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates bought at discounted rates can be used for the service originally purchased or redeemed for a different service, however any discounts or coupons used lose their value. GC's sold for "dollars worth of services" may only be used for regular priced sessions. We will honor expired gc's, however they will be honored at current, regular prices only and the difference in money will be expected to be paid by the receiver of the gift certificate.
Your Personal Information
We never use or share personally identifiable information. We will never sell, lease, or rent any personally identifiable information about you or your business to any third party. Only with your written consent, we will release any medical records that are requested.
Our 24 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy also applies to our patients that use no-fault insurance for payment. Due to the fact that insurance does not cover cancelled, rescheduled or missed appointments, we do require that the client, not the insurance company, pay for any missed appointments, late arrivals or cancelled appointments. In addition, clients must understand and agree that they will inform Hands On HealthCare Massage Therapy, P.C., immediately should they decide to seek the services of a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor or another Massage Therapist. Due to some insurance companies' regulations, services for Massage Therapy may not be covered once you seek care from a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor or a different Massage Therapist, even for a different diagnosis and services. You will be responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance company.
